In the quiet strength of women's shelters, where hope begins to mend the fragments of past trauma, the power of inner child healing becomes a vital resource. I am excited to offer a limited number of  free copies of the bestselling memoir "Broken Water" and the workbook, "What Your Inner Child Knows" for women to share. These free healing resources are more than just books; they are bridges to reclaiming lost innocence and sparking the light of resilience within. 

Shelters can provide invaluable tools for trauma recovery as women embark on this journey of self-discovery. WIth 25 years of service as a ministerial counselor,  I am volunteering my time to attend a limited number of discussion groups—whether in person (Metro DC area) or via Zoom—in order to foster a nurturing space of privacy and support. 

The journey to unveiling the inner child is both tender and transformative. This process encourages individuals to reconnect with their younger selves, acknowledging emotions that may have been suppressed. By facing these feelings, women can begin to understand the roots of their trauma and initiate healing. 

Shelters can play a pivotal role in this journey, using discussion groups to foster a sense of community and shared healing. After 25 years of service as a ministerial counselor with a focus on child abuse, I am offering limited opportunities to attend these groups, either in person or virtually, contributing to creating spaces where survivors feel seen and heard without judgment. Group discussions offer a platform to share personal stories  supporting the path to recovery. Through this compassionate approach, shelters become not only places of refuge but also centers for personal growth and empowerment.
